Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Doomscroll Totem (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Who We Are
The App is provided by goodideed. If you have questions, email support@goodideed.com.
License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
In-App Purchases (Consumable Totems)
The App offers optional in-app purchases for premium totem designs. These purchases are consumable: if a focus session fails, a premium totem can be consumed and moved into the trophy room. Consumable purchases may not be restored once consumed.
Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing, taxes, refunds, and billing support are handled by those platforms under their own terms and policies.
If an eligible purchase has not been consumed, it may be restorable through the store’s restore mechanism, subject to the store’s policies.
Refunds are not managed by goodideed. If you want a refund, request it through Apple or Google using their official refund processes. Eligibility and timing are determined by the store, not by us.
Third-Party Platform Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms and policies. In the event of a conflict between those terms and these Terms, the store’s terms will control where required by law.
Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the App or attempt to disrupt its services.
- Do not access or attempt to access data that is not intended for you.
- Do not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the App, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
Health and Safety Disclaimer
Doomscroll Totem is a focus tool, not a medical or therapeutic product. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Updates
We may require or recommend updates to keep the App working properly or to add security fixes and features. If you do not install required updates, some parts of the App may stop working.
Availability and Changes
We may update or discontinue the App at any time, including adding or removing features. We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, goodideed is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, unless local law requires a different forum.
